It is a mission impossible to name al the picturesque (bastide) villages in our region. But these are our favorites!
Eymet, just 5 km from the campsite is a lively little village with lots of terraces to have a drink on and restaurants to enjoy your lunch or dinner. There’s a lot of English residents around the village so you’ll also find a tearoom, a supermarket with UK goods and a furniture shop with British owners.
There’s a lovely market every Wednesday (in July & August) in Beaumont du Perigord, a 45 mins drive from the campsite. Beside a ‘vide grenier’ and ‘brocante’ (antiquities) you’ll find a market with local creators. Apart from the market Beaumont is a stunning little village with great views and nice restaurants to enjoy lunch, apéro or dinner. We went to Le Jean Bistrot and loved it!
